The long-term success of any industry depends upon fostering the interest and skills of all employees and ensuring that experiences and knowledge can be passed on from one generation of leaders to the next.

The Young Pipeliners Association of Canada (YPAC) is a professional group consisting of those who are 35 years or younger working or studying to be in the energy pipeline industry. YPAC transfers technical, business and industry knowledge not only from mature to young pipeliners, but also between young pipeliners, to maintain a positive future for the industry. YPAC aims to advocate for the role of energy infrastructure in Canada’s energy future so as to attract, retain and develop young people to the industry.

YPAC has over 1700 members, who work across multiple parts of the pipeline sector: suppliers and manufacturers of raw materials, equipment and pipe vendors, operators of pipelines, research and development and service professionals.
