Pipeline Integrity is a uniquely North American concept that has only really existed as a structured practice for the last 15 years. What is Pipeline Integrity and why is this one of the fastest growing segments of the North American pipeline industry? What is the future of Pipeline Integrity? Greg Zinter, Manager of Pipeline Integrity Assessment for Applus RTD, will draw on over 20 years of diverse experience in the pipeline industry to provide some broad historical context to these and other questions.

Speaker Biography: Greg began his pipeline career with Nova Gas Transmission in 1991. He worked in a variety of field and technical support roles before coming to pipeline integrity in 1998 when he worked on the Peace River Mainline Integrity program for TransCanada Pipelines. Since then he has worked as Business Development Manager for Hunter McDonnell Pipeline Services and helped develop the Pipeline Integrity group at Enbridge Pipelines before joining Applus RTD.  Greg also operates Tooloose Latreks Tours and he is involved with Leadership Edmonton, the Canadian Association of Medical Teams Abroad and the Interstellar Rodeo music festival.
